Modern websites and applications increasingly rely on powerful full stack development frameworks. The Certificate Course in Web Development with MERN Stack introduces learners to the essential tools and technologies used to build dynamic, interactive, and data driven web applications. Candidates will be selected through a short selection examination that evaluates reasoning skills, basic computing awareness, simple web technology knowledge, and general aptitude relevant to learning full stack web development concepts.

Course Highlights

Course Objective:

Provide learners with practical, hands-on experience in developing full stack web applications using the MERN technologies, preparing them to create modern interactive websites and backend services.

Course Contents:

● Strengthen your understanding of JavaScript and begin using React.js to create user interfaces.

● Build dynamic frontend components and work with state, props, routing, and API requests

● Learn backend development with Node.js and Express.js to create RESTful API services

● Work with MongoDB to store and manage application data using modern database techniques

● Connect frontend and backend systems to build complete full stack applications

● Gain experience in using GitHub and common version control practices for team based development

● Learn how to deploy MERN applications on local and cloud based platforms

Awarding Certificate

To receive the Certificate in Web Development with MERN Stack, participants must:

●       Maintain a minimum attendance of 80 percent
●       Obtain a minimum final mark of 40 percent

Certificate Categories:

●       Distinction for final marks of 75 percent or above
●       Merit for final marks from 55 percent to 74 percent
●       Pass for final marks from 40 percent to 54 percent

Participants who meet the attendance requirement but score below 40 percent will receive a Letter of Participation.
