Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming the world, influencing everything from healthcare and finance to education and entertainment. The Certificate Course in Artificial Intelligence and Applications introduces learners to the essential concepts, tools, and techniques that form the foundation of modern AI. Selection Process

Candidates will be selected through a short selection examination that evaluates reasoning skills, basic computing awareness, fundamental Python knowledge, and general aptitude relevant to learning the core concepts of Artificial Intelligence.

Course Highlights

Course Objective
Introduce learners to core Artificial Intelligence concepts and help them apply fundamental AI techniques to practical problems through guided, hands on learning.

● Understand the key ideas behind Artificial Intelligence and its applications in everyday life
● Explore basic data analysis techniques used to examine and interpret real world datasets
● Build introductory machine learning models and learn how they make predictions
● Gain experience in simple computer vision and natural language processing tasks

● Learn about responsible AI, including fairness, privacy, and ethical considerations

Awarding Certificate

To receive the Certificate in Artificial Intelligence and Applications, participants must:

●  Maintain a minimum attendance of 80 percent
●  Obtain a minimum final mark of 40 percent

Certificate Categories:

●  Distinction for final marks of 75 percent or above
●  Merit for final marks from 55 percent to 74 percent
●  Pass for final marks from 40 percent to 54 percent

Participants who meet the attendance requirement but score below 40 percent will receive a Letter of Participation.
